Tropical Laboratory

ELISA microplate reader:Reads the fluorescent, chemiluminiscent,or chromogenic response of the ELISA test in a 96-well plate.

ELISA microplate washer: It is mainly used to clean some residues from the wells of the ELISA plate to reduce the errors that may be caused by residues in the subsequent detection process.

Electrophoresis apparatus:It is used to separate macromolecules based on size

Centrifuge:Separates particles suspended in a liquid according to particle size and density, viscosity of the medium, and rotor speed

Biosafety cabinet:Protects personnel against biohazardous or infectious agents and helps maintain quality control of the material being worked with by filteration of both the inflow and exhaust air.

Water distiller:Removes fluoride, organic compounds, dissolved salts and solids, lead and other heavy metals, and almost all other impurities from water for laboratory uses.

Filtering fume hood:Filtering fumes, odors and particulates and recirculating the air to the laboratory. This is done by moving air through carbon filters that capture dangerous particles

CO2 incubator:A device designed to provide the natural environment for cells and their cultivation by controlling physical parameters such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and oxygen levels to achieve optimal growth and development of cells

ELISA reader:An instrument used to read a fluorescent, chemical, or chromosomal response. The instrument is designed to fit standard 96-position plates.

Flourescent microscope+(CAMERA,Lens): An optical microscope that uses fluorescence instead of, or in addition to, scattering, reflection, attenuation or absorption, to study the properties of organic or inorganic materials

Biosafety cabinet:An essential engineering control used to protect personnel from biological or infectious agents and to help maintain control of the quality of working materials while filtering both airflow and exhaust.

Centrifuge:A device that uses centrifugal force to separate materials of different density, to remove moisture, or to simulate the effects of gravity

High speed mini- centrifuge: A small-sized desktop centrifuge designed for biomedical laboratories. 12 Microspins are used for RNA/DNA sample extraction, biological component deposition, chemical and biochemical analysis of microscopic samples.

PCR:Amplification of fragments of DNA by polymerase chain reaction

Gel electrophoresis (V)/ western blotting:A device containing an agglutinating gel and a dissolving gel. The stacking gel concentrates the proteins loaded into the well so that the proteins can begin to migrate at the same time. After stacking, the precision gel separates proteins based on molecular size

Electrophoresis unit:It is called a submersible unit dielectric chamber, which are systems designed to operate gels or polyacrylamide gels immersed in a working insulator. Samples are introduced into an electric field and will migrate to the anode or cathode depending on their intrinsic charge

Magnetic Particle Processor: With magnetic bead technology, magnetic particle processors are commonly used to purify DNA, RNA, and proteins, and isolate certain types of cells. These instruments can accommodate a variety of sample types such as blood, plant tissue, and cell culture

Flourometer (nanodrop):Measuring the amount of protein, DNA and RNA using highly sensitive quantitative digital tests

VWR 600 centrifuge: The VWR high speed microcentrifuge is capable of high speed performance up to 15500rpm/16100°Xg.

Sensitive balance: Sensitive scale

Hotplate Stirrer:It is used to mix and heat aqueous solutions for a large variety of chemical reactions

Rocker-shaker:Adevice that works with horizontal vibrations for a period of time that can be adjusted and adjust the strength and angle of the vibration

Vacuum pump:: Vacuum pumps are compressors that take gas at a pressure below atmospheric pressure, compress it and discharge it at atmospheric pressure. Since gas at low pressures has a large volume, vacuum pumps tend to be bulky

Dry heat oven:Dry heating oven

liquid nitrogen:: Keeping biological samples at a temperature as low as -196 degrees Celsius (the temperature of liquid nitrogen)

UV gel documentation system:A system used for imaging and documenting nucleic acids and proteins suspended in agarose or polyacrylamide stained gels with fluorine such as ethidium bromide

Vortex:Mixing small bottles of liquid
