10. Facilities based on drinking water and sewage treatment and solid waste disposal.
11. Various industrial activities (the most important of which are: food, chemical, paper manufacturing, spinning, textile, plastic, rubber, petroleum, gas, quarries, mines, and construction).

12- Studying and determining the sources of pollution of natural water resources.
13. Analyzing samples from natural water sources, treated water, water networks and tanks, to see that they conform to the standards established for use as drinking water or in swimming pools, or their suitability for use in agriculture and industry.
14. Analyzing samples of liquid and solid waste, sludge and organic fertilizers to indicate their compliance with the standards of environmental protection laws.
15. Analyzing sea water and determining the extent of its pollution in accordance with the Environmental Protection Law.
16. Analysis of the leaching of sanitary landfills to show the efficiency of treatment, and analysis of monitoring wells for these burials to monitor groundwater pollution.
17. Periodic monitoring of industrial facilities from an environmental point of view.
18. Conducting environmental assessment studies for projects, and environmental review of existing facilities.

19. Providing studies and technical consultations in the field of reducing environmental pollution, and preparing an environmental record for companies and existing projects in industrial cities and tourist villages.
20. Cooperating with centers and consulting offices working in the field of environment to provide their technical advice in the areas of drinking water treatment, industrial wastewater, boilers, corrosion, and treatment of industrial and human liquid waste.
21. Organizing and implementing training courses for engineers and chemists in factories and sewage companies on the theories and techniques of the treatment process and their control.
22. Design of liquid waste treatment plants.
