The Occupational health and industrial medicine department strives at providing leaders with special skills for effective contribution in the protection and promotion of both community and workers' health.
Mission:
The mission of the occupational health and industrial medicine department is to prepare future calibers and leaders in the fields of occupational health and industrial medicine, occupational safety and biological monitoring of occupational hazards aiming at promoting both community and manpower's health, with emphasis on vulnerable groups. These can be achieved through its academic and training programmers in addition to consultation services that include:
vAcademic programs that develop the occupational health sense among students and develop the capability of problem solving and decisions making to attain sustainable development.
vSupervision on master and doctoral thesis and researches in the fields of occupational medicine, occupational hygiene and occupational safety.
vTraining programs to train on methods of assessment and management of occupational hazards, occupational diseases and injuries.
vConsulting services for most Egyptian companies and enterprises which include assessment and biological monitoring of occupational hazards, medical check up and control of hazards.
vEnvironmental impact assessment studies for new projects, and policies to achieve sustainable development
