Duties and competencies of the Director of Measurement and Evaluation Unit:

  1. The link between the measurement and evaluation center at the university and the senior management of the college.
  2. Submit a proposal to form work teams and have them approved by the Dean of the College.
  3. Preparing executive plans to achieve the strategic goals of the university and college.
  4. Supervision of unit workers.
  5. Follow-up the completion of daily work and ensure that it conforms to the unit's work plan and coordinate between the unit's employees.
  6. Contacting the scientific and administrative departments through the college administration to conduct the executive work.
  7. Preparing periodic reports on the unit's activities.
  8. Submitting periodic reports on the development of the unit's work according to the tasks assigned to it, and the problems that hinder the performance of the tasks.
  9. A periodic report was made for the dean and the undersecretaries on the progress of the water departments in the corrective process and the extent of their implementation of the unit's activities.

Duties and competencies of the Deputy Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit:

  1. Assist the unit manager in performing all his duties.
  2. In the absence of the unit director, his deputy takes charge of his affairs and manages technical affairs within the framework of the unit council's policies and decisions.
  3. He is the first responsible for the documentation and preservation of documents in the unit.
  4. Attending meetings called for by the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the university.
  5. Follow-up the implementation of the decisions of the unit in the institute.
  6. Follow-up and inventory of documents and activity data from the institute.
  7. Participate in preparing the agenda and meeting minutes of the unit’s board of directors and the unit’s executive council.
  8. Participate in preparing periodic reports for the unit and its affiliated committees.
  9. Supervision of unit workers.

Duties of the Electronic Correction Committee:

  1. Designing answer forms for electronically corrected exams.
  2. Participate and supervise the electronic correction process at the institute.
  3. Preparing electronic correction reports and cooperating with the Analysis and Statistics Committee to prepare a report for a faculty member about the electronic corrected test.
  4. Follow-up the implementation of the mechanisms and procedures of electronic correction at the institute in accordance with the policy proposed by the Center for Measurement and Evaluation at the university, in acceptance of the amendments approved by the Council of the Institute.
  5. Communicate with the electronic correction officer at the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the university in case of a problem.
  6. Training faculty members to use the statistical analysis output of the electronic correction process for tests in cooperation with the Analysis and Statistics Committee and the Training Committee.
  7. Submit periodic reports on the electronic correction process to the Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit.

Duties of the Question Banks Committee:

  1. Research and development in the institute's question banks system.
  2. Providing the necessary support for formulating questions and building vocabulary for the various courses at the institute.
  3. Implementation and supervision of question banks at the institute.
  4. Overcoming obstacles and solving problems facing faculty members during the establishment of a question bank.
  5. Communicate with the question banks official at the University Measurement and Evaluation Center in case of a problem.
  6. Submitting periodic reports on question banks to the director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit.

Duties of the Electronic Calendar Committee:

  1. Research and development in the electronic testing system.
  2. Providing the necessary support for formulating questions and creating an electronic test for the various courses at the institute.
  3. Implementation and supervision of the electronic test at the institute.
  4. Overcoming obstacles and solving problems facing faculty members during the preparation of the electronic test.
  5. Communicate with the electronic exams official at the University Measurement and Evaluation Center in case of a problem.
  6. Submit periodic reports on electronic tests to the director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit.

Duties of the Measurement, Analysis and Statistics Committee:

  1. The necessary support to complete the statistical analysis of the tests at the institute.
  2. Analyzing the electronic correction reports and cooperating with the correction committee to prepare a report for the faculty member on the electronically corrected test.
  3. Preparing statistical analysis reports of exam results and submitting them to the center.
  4. Periodic measurement of the satisfaction of the concerned parties (student - faculty member) with the performance and activities of the unit.
  5. Submitting periodic reports on the results and statistical analysis of the progress of the measurement and evaluation process to the unit manager.

Duties of the Training and Media Committee:

  1. Developing the annual training plan for the institute, whether for students or members of the teaching staff and the supporting staff.
  2. Demonstrating the importance and role of the unit in the various means of communication and on the Internet through the website.
  3. Spreading the culture of measurement and evaluation among the teaching profession.
  4. Preparing seminars and conferences related to the development of evaluation and measurement systems at the institute.
  5. Providing experts specialized in the field of measurement and evaluation when needed from inside the stomach, and in the case of outside it, the center is returned.
  6. Implementation of training courses and workshops to meet the training needs of the faculty members and the assisting staff of the institute with regard to measurement and evaluation.

Duties of the Technical and Administrative Preparation Committee IT Responsible:

 

  1. Preparing and following up correspondence, notes, decisions and reports of the unit.
  2. Receiving the unit's incoming mail as well as exporting outgoing correspondence.
  3. Receiving and answering incoming phone calls.
  4. Preparing the unit's digital archive data entry.
  5. Submitting reports to the unit director or his deputy on the obstacles.
