Mission of the Statistical Analysis unit

• The Statistical Laboratory Unit is a consulting center in the field of statistics and research planning. It provides its services to researchers from students of High Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University and other universities, in addition to health care providers, national and international academic institutions, sectors and agencies related to environmental health.

• The unit's activities are summarized in the following areas:

  Developing a research plan for various studies, preparing and reviewing questionnaires for research and research projects, entering research data, analyzing it, presenting it tabularly and graphically, and interpreting the results.

• Distinguished statistical analyses  are conducted in the statistical laboratory unit as: survival analysis, nutrition analysis, meta analysis, statistical methods in quality control, geographic information systems and cluster data analysis.

• Holding workshops and courses in the field of various statistical programs such as SPSS, R, and Stata.
