The department of Nutrition at High Institute of Public Health is the only destination under the umbrella of Alexandria University to provide academic degrees in Nutrition and Food Analysis.

It provides its activities through:

Teaching: providing postgraduate degree programs namely Diploma, Master and Doctorate degrees in Public Health and Public Health Sciences majoring Nutrition or Food Analysis.

Research: related to various societal problems in the field of Nutrition and Food Analysis.

Training: of our graduates to deal with the rapid changes and challenges of the times while practicing their work in the field with the aim of improving nutritional status of the individuals and deal with the problems that affect food safety, identify risks  and to analyze and estimate food components  and contaminants using latest technologies.
