Our vision for education is to produce graduates with distinguished statistical skills sought after by the labor market."

Mission:

The mission of the Biostatistics Department is to prepare cadres and leaders for the future, who have the capabilities to apply quantitative science - in cooperation with clinical laboratories and community leaders - in planning, implementing, analyzing and interpreting research studies. This can be achieved through:

Accurate, high-quality training in statistical methods and collaborative research provided by master's and doctoral programs in biostatistics, in addition to workshops and training programs.
The department worked in various research fields, specifically survival analysis, nutrition analysis, multiple trials, meta analysis, statistical methods in quality control, geographic information systems and cluster data analysis.
The statistical advisory center that provides services to a large number of researchers at the Higher Institute of Public Health or other research centers in biomedicine, health care providers, academic institutions, national, regional and international sectors and agencies related to environmental health.
