The Environmental Health department, High Institute of Public Health strives to be a prominent academic center locally and regionally, creating and delivering environmental knowledge, skills and expertise for sound policies and practices enhancing the healthy environment and ensure achievement of the sustainable development goals.

Mission:

Preparing cadres and leaders capable of facing the growing environmental  challenges, aiming at improving community health, with emphasis on workforce, through multidisciplinary high-quality education and training programs and activities, prominent scientific research related to the environmental problems (air, water, soil, sanitation, industrial wastes, occupational hygiene and safety, food hygiene and food safety and vector control and pesticide hazards); and the dynamic partnerships with environmentally-related and community services institutions.
